HOW TO TURN IT ON Contact your Account Manager or email support@leaftrade.com and we will enable it. We can switch you on user by user or account by account, so you can pilot it with a few people before moving your whole team
What's different
The old Add/Edit page stacked order details on top of your product catalog, so building an order meant a lot of scrolling. Filtering was a separate problem: there was very little you could do to narrow the catalog down before you started adding.
The new page splits the work across two screens and adds filtering, sorting, and column control the old page could not support.
Functionality you are used to is still here. The Orders page itself has not changed, and moving line items between orders works exactly as it always has.
If you would rather watch than read, the walkthrough video runs about two minutes.
Inventory is reserved when you add it
This is the biggest change.
On the old page, inventory was not reserved until you hit save. If you built an order, took a phone call, and came back, another rep or a customer on your live menu could have claimed that inventory in the meantime.
Reserved on add, not on save Inventory is reserved the moment you add a package to the order, and again whenever you change quantities. You do not have to save first, and you do not have to race anyone for the same case.
The two-screen workflow
The new page moves left to right. You can move between the two screens freely with the buttons at the top, so nothing is locked in.
1. Add Products
Browse and filter your catalog, add products, and set your quantities. This is where you stage the whole order.
The Add Products page. Filters and search sit above the catalog, Columns is on the right.
2. Add Quantities
This is the edit-quantities-and-pricing screen. Come here when you need to change something you have already added: override pricing, add or drop a case, apply discounts. Use Proceed to Quantities to get here, and Add More Products to go back.
The Add Quantities page, reached with Proceed to Quantities.
Filtering
Filters live on the Add Products screen, alongside Categories, Brands, and Package Type. Show Out of Stock and Show Hidden Variants sit under More Filters.
Categories, Brands, Package Type, and More Filters.
Package Type: full cases vs. single units Filter to one or the other. This is especially useful when you are pulling samples or partials and do not want full cases cluttering the view. It works in reverse too, when you know a customer is not getting partials.
Show Hidden Variants Narrow to what is visible on your live menu by leaving hidden variants off.
Show Out of Stock Turn this on to confirm something is genuinely gone rather than assuming it did not match your search. Turn it off to keep the list tight.
Search The search bar finds items by product name, batch number, or pull number, and it combines with any of the filters above.
Add All
Once you have filtered down to what you want, Add All adds one case of everything currently in your view, in a single click.
Add All sits at the top right of the product table.
TIP Add All follows your filter, so it works best after you have narrowed to a category, a brand, or a specific search. If you are viewing single units, it adds one unit rather than one case.
Check your cart with View Item(s)
At the bottom of the Add Products screen there is a popup showing everything currently on the order. It stays accurate as you build, even when you change your filters or search, so you can keep browsing without losing track of what you have already added.
View Item(s) opens the running cart from the bottom bar.
TIP This one gets overlooked. It is worth opening the first time so you know it is there.
Columns: set them up once
Every data point that exists on a batch is available as a column: lab dates, expiration dates, harvest and manufacture dates, THC and CBD values, test results, case size, location, and more.
The first time you land on this page, it will look like a lot. That is deliberate. We turned everything on so you can see what is available. Spend two minutes narrowing it down:
Open the Columns menu and turn off anything you do not need
Drag column headers to reorder them
Resize columns by dragging their edges
Click any header to sort, including lab date so you can actually run FIFO, or THC percentage if that is how your customers buy
The Select Columns panel, with a toggle for every available column.
TIP Your column setup saves to your user account. You are not changing the view for anyone else on your team, and it will still be there the next time you build an order.
Pricing and bulk discounting
On the Add Quantities screen, select a brand or a category and apply a discount to the whole selection at once, either a flat amount or a percentage, instead of editing line items one at a time.
Individual prices can be changed in the Price Override column on the same screen.
The Price Override column on the Add Quantities page.
Pricing rules now display while you are building the order, rather than only after you have saved and opened the order details.
Editing an existing order
The same two-screen experience runs when you edit an order you have already created. Click Add Products or Edit Quantities Items from the Order Summary page as you normally would and you will be taken through the same flow.
Also new
Past-due customers are blocked, not just flagged The old page warned you. The new page prevents the order from being created.
Faster load and save times Plus a fix for duplicated sample variants in Add/Edit.

Giving us feedback
The more specific, the better. A screen recording of your actual workflow is the single most useful thing you can send. Short of that, a screenshot plus the exact product or tag number you were working with lets us reproduce the issue directly.
“Search results seem off” is hard to act on. “I searched this product name and got these results instead” is something we can fix.
